  After eating the biscuits at home, I made one by hand, the checkerboard shape came out and it looked pretty good, no mold, very easy to make.

60 grams of butter
25 grams of flour
15 grams of cream
One egg yolk
130 grams of low-fat flour
5 grams of cocoa powder

Steps 1 to 4

1. Prepare the required materials and weigh them.

2. The butter is softened and added to the sugar powder, which is sent by an electric egg beater.

3. Beat the butter until it's fluffy, add the egg yolk and stir evenly, then add the light cream and stir occasionally (I forgot the steps to add the egg yolk).

4. Add all the cream after stirring.

Steps 5 to 8

6. Mix the flour thinly and form the dough

7. Divide the dough into two parts, one of which is 10 g more than the other, mix 5 g of cocoa powder with 5 g of water or milk and add it to the small dough, i.e. two parts of dough

8. The dough is divided into two long strips of the same length and hand-pressed into a square shape.

Steps 9 to 12

9. Put four long strips of dough in a row, apply a moderate amount of egg juice or clear water as a binder in the middle, put them in a row, adjust the edges slightly, and then refrigerate for half an hour.

10. After cooling, remove the dough and cut it into slices about 0.5 cm thick.

11. Put in the oven, preheat the oven at 200 degrees and bake in the oven for 10 minutes.

12. Bake at 180 degrees for about 18 minutes.

Handy cooking tips

  If you don't have any cream, you can replace it with milk.It's better to have a square cross-section when arranging the shape of the chessboard, so that the cookies look good!
