  Since falling in love with cinnamon, I started trying all kinds of cinnamon desserts.For Christmas, I made cinnamon turmeric cake, then cinnamon apple pie, and this cinnamon walnut cookie has been made many times, and my friends and family love it.It's simple, it's fragrant, and it's a great choice for afternoon tea with cinnamon!

Steps 1 to 4

1. Put 60 g of walnuts in a bag and crush them.

2. 75 g of butter in a deep bowl, softened to room temperature, can be stored next to the heater in winter

3. After softening, add 40 g of sugar and 1/2 teaspoon of salt and stir evenly in an egg beater.

4. After stirring, add one egg yolk and stir evenly again.

Steps 5 to 8

5. Add 110 grams of low flour, 60 grams of walnut powder and 1 teaspoon of cinnamon powder

6. I used a disposable glove to speed up the mixing.

7. Put it in a fresh bag, mold it, put it in the refrigerator, freeze it for about an hour.

8. Preheat the oven, tube up and down 160 degrees for about ten minutes, remove the frozen biscuits from the refrigerator, cut 5 mm thin slices and place them on a pan covered with aluminum foil (or oil paper) (be careful to leave a gap in between, the biscuits will swell during baking)

Steps 9 to 12

9. It is placed in the middle layer and baked for about 20 minutes, during which the smell of cinnamon fills the room, making it feel full of happiness.

10. After cooling, remember to put it in a fresh bag or a cookie sealed box, and come back a few pieces every afternoon.

Handy cooking tips

  The amount of cinnamon can be adjusted according to the taste of the population, I've tried from 1/2 teaspoon to 2 teaspoons, 1/2 teaspoon is more suitable for the masses... if you especially like the taste of cinnamon, you can add 1 teaspoon ~ I also add less sugar powder, mainly because I don't like it too sweet.It's all about the population, and it's all about the population.
