Steps 1 to 4

1. The raw materials for the toast are ready.

3. The bread machine starts the kneading process, kneading until the dough is smooth and delicately expanded, adding softened butter and continuing the kneading process.

Steps 5 to 8

Divide the dough into three parts, two of which are mixed with cocoa powder, light-colored dough I added 4 grams of cocoa powder, dark-colored dough I added 8 grams, cocoa powder is mixed with warm milk, three doughs are 260 grams of pure color, 155 grams of light color and 145 grams of dark color.

7. Put the dough in the bread maker to set the fermentation mode, and after an hour, press your hand on the dough with an eye, pressing down where it does not shrink or collapse to complete the fermentation.

8. After exhausting the dough, divide it into 11 pieces, about 22 grams each of the original color, 14 grams each of the light color, 13 grams of the dark color, cover the preservative film and relax for twenty minutes.

Steps 9 to 12

9. The light-colored dough is rubbed into growth strips, the original and dark-colored dough are kneaded with a dough stick into a tongue shape, and the light-colored long strips are placed on top of the dark-colored ones.

10. As shown in the picture, I didn't wrap the whole thing with cocoa powder, so it's more irregular, it feels better, and then I wrapped it tightly with the original colored beef tongue-shaped skin.

11. Rub the stripes into long strips that are slightly longer than the toast mold, and put four of them underneath.

Steps 13 to 16

14. In the oven, set the fermentation for one hour at a temperature of 40 degrees, put a bowl of water under the toast mold, in case the temperature in the oven is too dry.

15. When the time comes, look at the toast after the second fermentation, about an eighth of the mold is full.

16. Preheat the oven 180 degrees, put the toast in the bottom layer, bake for 35 minutes, at 35 minutes wear insulating gloves and open the toast box to observe, if the color is not enough, you can continue baking for a while.

Steps 17 to 20

17. When it's time, take the toast out of the oven, put it in the oven to cool it down, and don't forget to wear insulating gloves.
