Chestnut bread
Today I'm going to share with you a lovely bread in the shape of a chestnut. Interestingly, this bread is similar in shape to a chestnut, but it has nothing to do with chestnut in terms of taste or even material.
WHAT YOU NEED
Ingredients
200 grams of high-quality flour20 g of white sugar3 grams of fermented flour130 ml of milk3 grams of cocoa powder20 g of white sugar30 ml of milk2 grams of salt100 grams of pumpkin5 grams of unsalted butter
How TO MADE Chestnut bread
Steps 1 to 4
1. The pumpkin is microwaved 800 W for about 4 minutes until cooked.
2. The mixture of cooked pumpkins, sugar and milk is made into a fine paste using a blender.
3. Pour the pumpkin paste into the pot and heat it over a small fire, stirring it while heating it until the pumpkin paste thickens.
4. Place the pumpkin filling in a large glass container, add butter while it is hot, and stir evenly.
Steps 5 to 8
5. Mix 200 g of high-fiber flour, 20 g of sugar, 2 g of salt, 3 g of fermentation powder, 130 ml of milk, 3 g of cocoa powder and knead into a smooth dough. Leave for one hour for the first fermentation.
6. After the first fermentation, the internal air is lightly squeezed out, divided into eight equal parts, and again kneaded into a small dough.
7. Relax for about ten minutes, take a small dough, knead it into thin slices, and add about 20 grams of pumpkin filling.
8. Wrapped in a circular triangle.
Steps 9 to 12
9. When all eight are ready, they are left for a second fermentation for about 30 minutes. After the second fermentation, the top of the bread dough is pinched by hand to bring it closer to the shape of the chestnut.
10. Take a little bit of white sesame (I'm using it).
11. A layer of egg yolk is applied to the loaf of bread, and a little white sesame is applied to the bottom, making it look like a chestnut.
12. Preheat in the oven at 180 degrees for about 15 minutes.
